BOULDER — Colorado women's golf head coach Anne Kelly announced the team's 2023-24 awards Sunday as the Buffaloes celebrated their season at the Champions Center.

Sophomore Morgan Miller was named Most Valuable Player and Most Improved. Fourth-year junior Lauren Waxer-Gooding earned the Toughest Buff Award, graduate senior Sabrina Iqbal took home the Clever Coloradoan honor while junior Maria Eidhagen Harrouch won the Shoulder to Shoulder Award.

Miller led Colorado in stroke average (72.31) and score in relation to par (0.31), with both numbers on pace to break school single-season records as she heads to the NCAA Cle Elum Regional as an individual, May 6-8. She also leads the Buffaloes with 13 sub-par rounds, 17 rounds at par or better and a single-season school record seven rounds in the 60s.

Miller's 72.31 stroke average was a 3.48 improvement from her freshman season, the best mark among returning players. She took nearly six strokes off her fall season average, going from a 76.21 in 2022-23 to setting a school fall season record of 70.40 in 2023-24.

The Toughest Buff Award was presented to Waxer-Gooding by Colorado Strength & Conditioning coach Skylar Rubalcaba, for her outstanding effort in the weight room.

Iqbal claimed the Clever Coloradoan Award, given to the Buff who excels at the highest level both in the classroom and on the course.

Eidhagen Harrouch earned the Shoulder to Shoulder Award which is voted on by team members. This award is given to the player who embodies the highest of ideal of what it means to be a great teammate.

In addition to team awards, the Buffaloes took time to honor outgoing graduates Iqbal, Waxer-Gooding and Hailey Schalk as well as Kelly who is retiring from coaching after 27 years leading the Colorado program.
