Two USA Lacrosse All-Americans

SPARKS, Md. - Annabel Frist and Aliya Polisky each earned an All-America nod on Thursday, USA Lacrosse announced. It's the first USA Lacrosse All-America award for both Frist and Polisky.

Frist and Polisky were both lauded last month as Pac-12 First Team selections and the Pac-12 Draw Specialist of the Year and the Pac-12 Freshman of the Year respectively.

Annabel Frist has been a force in the draw circle this season, averaging 10.50 controls per game and recording at least 10 draw controls in eight of 12 games. Her 10.50 controls per game leads the Pac-12 and sits third in the NCAA.

After her 11 draw controls against Holy Cross, Frist moved into second place in Stanford history in career draw controls. She has 126 on the season which would be the second most in a single season, trailing only her tally from last season.

She now has 318 in her career, becoming just the second Stanford player to ever reach 300 draw controls (Genesis Lucero, 360, 2016-21). She also is tied for the most draw controls in Pac-12 history with fellow Cardinal Genesis Lucero (318, 2018-21).

Polisky has been an offensive spark for Stanford all season long, leading the team in goals (50) and points (67). This season she scored seven goals against Colorado, the fifth most goals in a single game by a Stanford player. In the same game, she tallied 10 points, the third best single game mark in program history.

Her 50 goals are the seventh most in a single season and her 67 points sit 12th in the record book. Even more impressive, her 111 shots are third in Stanford history for a single season, and trail only Ali Baiocco (114 - 2019; 112 - 2022).
