Campos Named to Final ANNIKA Award Watch List

May 10, 2024

COLUMBUS, Ga. – Junior Zoe Antoinette Campos on the UCLA women's golf team was named to the 2024 Final ANNIKA Award Watch List, it was announced Friday morning. The list features 10 of the best women's collegiate golfers in the country this season.

Created in 2014, the ANNIKA Award is annually given to the top female Division I collegiate golfer; the winner voted on by players, coaches and members of the college golf media. Two Bruins have won the ANNIKA Award: Alison Lee (2014) and Bronte Law (2016).

Campos, the No. 11-ranked collegiate golfer in the country according to Spikemark, has been named to the ANNIKA Award Spring Watch List twice in her career (2023-24, 2022-23).

Campos is coming off her fourth medal of the season at the NCAA Las Vegas Regional on Wednesday earlier this week. Her four medals are tied for the program record for most in a single season. She has also recorded 19 rounds under par in 2023-24, which is tied for fourth most in a single season (the record is 20 rounds under par set by three separate UCLA golfers).

Campos also leads the Bruins in scoring average (70.5) and top-10 finishes (8), and she is the only UCLA golfer to have all of her rounds contribute to the team score (28/28 counting rounds). She earned All-Pac-12 First Team honors for the second time in her career this year.

Campos and the Bruins earned a spot to compete at the 2024 NCAA Championships at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif. next week. UCLA gets action underway on May 17.
