Pac-12 football uniform watch week 3

Sep 14, 2013

It's a big week for Pac-12 football. UCLA is at historic football power Nebraska while Cal and Arizona State host ranked Big Ten opponents Ohio State and Wisconsin. But what are they wearing? There are a lot of traditional looks in Week 3 of college football, but as usual, some teams (Hi, Oregon) are pushing the envelope. Look good, feel good, as they say.

Oregon

Against Tennessee, the Ducks are summoning their inner Wiz Khalifa and going with a black and yellow look. But it's mostly yellow. Other than the feathering and the numbers on the jerseys, it'll be yellow. It's not a mellow look. It's yellow.

UCLA

Today was a special day for the Bruins' uniforms. To honor Nick Pasquale, a redshirt freshman who passed away last weekend after being hit by a car, UCLA wore patches sporting their teammate's number, 36. Nebraska also sported Pasquale's number on their helmets for today's game.

The team also went with all-white uniforms and gold helmets at Nebraska to contrast the Huskers' black uniforms.

Stanford

The Cardinal went with a traditional look on the road at Army. No surprises there.

Washington

The Washington Huskies are donning white on white at Soldier Field as they face the Fighting Illini in Chicago.

Oregon State

In the Pac-12's lone conference Saturday matchup, the Oregon State Beavers will go with white helmets and white jerseys against the Utes.

California

Cal hosts No. 3 Ohio State with an old-school loook in navy helmets, navy jerseys and gold pants.

Arizona State

Arizona State's big Bucky the Badger blackout is ready for action.

Washington State

The Cougars are sandwiching their red jerseys with grey helmets and pants against Utah State.
