TEMPE, Ariz. - Day one of the 2024 Pac-12 Beach Volleyball Championships kicked off at Arizona State University on Wednesday, with the top-4 seeds coming away victorious in their opening duals and continuing on in the winner’s bracket.

In accordance to their seeding, No. 1 USC, No. 2 UCLA, No. 3 STANFORD and No. 4 CALIFORNIA advanced on in the winner’s bracket. After securing a victory in their first match, No. 8 UTAH fell to the one-seeded Trojans in the afternoon to drop them out of the tournament. No. 8 ARIZONA and No. 9 OREGON went on to compete head-to-head in the first consolation match of the tournament where the Wildcats came out victorious, now set to take on the No. 7 ARIZONA STATE Sun Devils tomorrow.

Action resumes Thursday with No. 2 UCLA and No. 3 Stanford fighting to stay in the winner’s bracket at 8:30 a.m. PT, followed by another quarterfinal winner’s matchups between No. 4 California and No. 1 USC.
